Code of Conduct

Our commitment to a safe, inclusive, and professional environment.

1. Our Pledge

OneAxis Cloud is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, or technical background. We do not tolerate harassment of our community members in any form.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

2. Expected Behavior

We expect all employees, contractors, clients, and partners to demonstrate behavior that fosters a positive environment. This includes:

  • Professionalism: Exercising consideration and respect in your speech and actions.
  • Collaboration: Attempting collaboration before conflict and assuming positive intent.
  • Inclusivity: Using welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Safety: Being mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Alert community leaders if you notice a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or violations of this Code of Conduct.
  • Grace: Accepting constructive criticism gracefully and focusing on what is best for the overall community.

3. Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions.
  • Offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.
  • Inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides and online meeting backgrounds).
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Harassing photography or recording, including recording without consent.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or physical contact.
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviors.

4. Scope

We expect all community participants (contributors, paid or otherwise; sponsors; and other guests) to abide by this Code of Conduct in all OneAxis Cloud venues—online and in-person—as well as in all one-on-one communications pertaining to OneAxis Cloud business.

This includes OneAxis Slack channels, GitHub repositories, Zoom calls, email threads, and physical office locations or off-site events.

5. Enforcement Responsibilities

Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Community leaders have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct.

6. Enforcement Procedures

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, OneAxis Cloud management may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including:

  • Issuing a verbal or written warning.
  • Temporary or permanent expulsion from the community or platform.
  • Termination of employment or contract without notice.
  • Reporting the incident to law enforcement authorities.

Report an Incident

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact our Ethics Committee immediately. All reports are kept confidential.
